Inventory When You Need it, Readily Available at Your Fingertips

Keeping track of individual parts distributed to multiple projects with different budgets and different personnel can be challenging. Swagelok’s RoboCrib parts vending machine solves that problem by tracking inventory and issuing real-time reports.

RoboCrib is secure and located at your facility. It works similarly to a traditional vending machine, dispensing a component from inventory in under 10 seconds. It can store anywhere from 500 to 2,000 parts and one machine can dispense parts as small as a single tube fitting or as large as a sample cylinder and bigger. The footprint of the largest of its models measures slightly more than five feet by five feet.

How It Works

  1. Customer enters username and password on the RoboCrib touch screen.
    • RoboCrib can restrict authorization as to which parts different employees can take, by part number, by job number or by purchase order.
  2. The right part moves to the front and the vending door automatically opens, all in less than 10 seconds.
    • Limits on how many items can be taken out per day, week or month, access by dollar amount, departmental budget, or time restrictions by shift can be set by an administrator.
  3. RoboCrib sends instant alerts to management when a job is using an abnormal number of components or if the machine is running low on parts.
    • In all there are 150 different reports pre-designed and built into the system. This allows for faster invoicing without waiting for manual submission of a P.O. All the information is stored in RoboCrib.
  4. Swagelok Southeast Texas will refresh inventory as often as once a week to ensure you are never without the components you need.
