About Swagelok Company
Swagelok Company, founded in 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, began with a single product, the Swagelok tube fitting. The company has grown into a global corporation that designs, develops, and manufactures thousands of high-quality fluid system products delivered all over the world. Swagelok employs 4,800 people directly, plus another 3,000 people are employed by 200 sales and service centers located in 70 countries.

Engineering a Better World
At Swagelok, we are on a mission to make the world a better place. We are enabling advanced technologies and ensuring the safe operation of applications around the world. At the same time, we continuously and critically evaluate our manufacturing footprint and give back to the communities that generously support us.
We divert 60% of the waste that would otherwise go to landfills. We upgrade our facilities to reduce energy consumption, and we reuse or recycle precious resources such as water, oil, and metal cuttings.
Each year our charitable foundations and trusts support more than 100 charities with donations of $3.5 million. In addition, our associates serve on over 70 local nonprofit boards.
